Product Introduction: Corn Gluten Feed (CGF – Dry) Average Nutritional Composition (per kg): Crude Protein: ~20% Crude Fat: 2–3% Crude Fiber: ~15% Ash: 7–8% Metabolizable Energy (ME): ~2,500–2,800 kcal Minerals: Rich in phosphorus and potassium, but low in calcium Applications in Animal Nutrition: Ruminants (dairy and beef cattle): Highly suitable due to high fiber content, stabilizes rumen microflora and provides energy. Swine: Can be used moderately to supplement protein and energy, but must be balanced with other protein sources. Poultry: Limited use because of high fiber, which reduces digestibility. Aquaculture: Not recommended due to unsuitable nutritional profile. Advantages: Much cheaper compared to Corn Gluten Meal (CGM – 60% protein). Provides good energy and fiber for dairy and beef cattle. Eco-friendly by-product from corn processing industry. Limitations: Lower protein content compared to CGM. Lacks yellow pigments (xanthophyll) → does not enhance yolk or skin color in poultry. High fiber → unsuitable for poultry and aquaculture diets.
