Product Introduction: Blood Meal (Hemo) Description: Blood meal is a cell-separated product, carefully dried and processed from livestock blood. Whole blood collected from slaughtered cattle is centrifuged and spray-dried in specialized towers. Rich in protein (90%) with low ash content (6%). Digestibility of protein: 99% (in vitro). Solubility: 88%. High in lysine (9–11%), but deficient in isoleucine and methionine. For aquaculture species, digestibility is lower; recommended inclusion in shrimp feed should not exceed 10%. Higher cost compared to other protein sources, requiring careful economic consideration.
